V.I. 2010 property tax bills
The U.S. Virgin Islands property tax bills for 2010 are being issued. A 5% discount is offered to those property owners paying by July 16, 2012. For those property owners paying taxes after July 16th through July 30, 2012 will benefit from a 2.5% discount.
Tax payments not paid by September 30,2012 will be considered late and will result in late fees.
In the event a property owner feels the need to file an appeal regarding property tax assessments, the filing deadline is October 15, 2012, and must be filed with the Board of Tax Review.
