VITEMA Tests Tsunami Warning Sirens
The V.I. Territorial Emergency Management Agency (VITEMA) will be testing the territory’s new tsunami alert system at 10 a.m. this morning. The first sirens were installed at key locations this past June on St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John. Eventually, the sirens will blanket the territory’s coastlines.
